What Does It Mean to Live with Intention?
There is a quiet truth that many of us sense but rarely pause to explore: the answers we spend our lives searching for are not always found by looking further outward. More often, they begin by turning inward.
Modern life constantly invites our attention elsewhere — the next notification, the next achievement, the next opinion, the next purchase that promises to make us feel complete. Yet the more we depend on the outside world to define our wellbeing, the easier it becomes to lose touch with ourselves.
At True Source, we believe intentional living begins with a simple practice: returning to yourself.
Not becoming someone new.
Not fixing who you are.
Simply remembering the part of you that has always been there.
Returning to Yourself
For us, conscious living is not about perfection or escaping everyday life. It is about creating small moments of awareness within it.
A quiet morning before the day begins.
A deep breath after a difficult conversation.
The warmth of candlelight after turning off the noise of the world.
These simple rituals do not change who we are. They simply create space to notice what is already present.
The Meaning of Flame
Throughout history, flame has held meaning far beyond light.
Across many cultures and traditions, it has accompanied moments of reflection, remembrance, celebration, meditation and spiritual practice. Lighting a candle has long been a simple way of marking a transition — from distraction to presence, from movement to stillness.
Our founder spent early childhood in Tibet, surrounded by the atmosphere of Tibetan Buddhist traditions, where candlelight and ritual were familiar parts of daily life. Later, living across different countries and cultures revealed that although traditions vary, many share a similar understanding: creating intentional moments helps us reconnect with ourselves.
This experience shaped the philosophy behind True Source.
Not because a candle has special power.
But because the act of lighting one can become a gentle invitation to pause.
The Language of Scent
Our fragrances are inspired by the principles of aromatherapy and by the emotional relationship many people have with scent.
Certain aromas can make us feel calm.
Others remind us of home, nature or meaningful memories.
Rather than making promises about what fragrance should do, we believe scent can simply help create an atmosphere where rest, reflection and presence feel more natural.
Every True Source candle is designed with that intention.
More Than a Candle
A candle cannot transform your life.
It cannot remove stress, solve difficult decisions or heal old wounds.
But it can create a moment.
A moment to slow down.
To breathe.
To notice your thoughts without immediately reacting to them.
To reconnect with the quiet place within yourself that modern life often drowns out.
Sometimes that single moment is where meaningful change begins.
Your True Source
Our candles are made with plant-based wax and fragrance blends inspired by aromatherapy because we believe our surroundings influence how we feel.
The warmth of light.
The comfort of a familiar scent.
A few uninterrupted minutes.
Together, they can become a simple daily ritual that supports your wellbeing.
At True Source, we don't believe peace is something to chase.
We believe it is something to remember.
The journey does not begin somewhere else.
It begins by coming home to yourself.
Welcome to True Source.
